1987 yılında Istanbul Sankt Georg Avusturya Lisesi’nden mezun oldum, tıp eğitimimi 1987 – 1993 yılları arasında İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi’nde tamamladım. Yine aynı üniversitede Nöroşirurji Ana Bilim Dalı’nda uzmanlık eğitimimi tamamlayıp ve aynı yıllarda Amerika’da University of Washington, Dept. of Neurosurgery, Seattle’da eğitim aldım. 

2009 yılında Doçentlik ünvanını almaya hak kazandım. Akabinde 2015 yılında Profesörlük ünvanını aldım.

Beyin ve sinir cerrahisi alanında gerek Türkiye’de gerekse yurt dışında farklı dergilerde pek çok yayınım bulunmaktadır. Halen İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Nöroşirürji Ana Bilim Dalı’nda görev yapmaktayım.
